Bill is a self taught hobby artist. He lives in Yarra Glen with his wife Margaret. He took up painting as a way of relaxing and escaping from a busy corporate life. Recently retired he is now able to devote more time to this passion. His medium is acrylic on canvas. His specialty bold landscapes. Occassionally an imaginative piece is thrown in and recently he has been trying to capture animal portraits showing emotion.
Most paintings evolve from photographs taken for this purpose. He strive for depth and perspective and looks to translate the mood of the subject area.
Bill works from home, and has set up a gallery which is open by appointment. He does commission work and has a collection of works for sale viewable in the home gallery.
His other interests are travelling, golf and enjoying time with the family.
