ARTIST NOTES: This beautiful gum blossom was in the Adelaide Botanic Gardens. I waited hours for the sun to hit it in the right way and my brother Steve held the branch for me. I painted it in acrylic and then used oils to glaze and highlight.

ARTIST BIO

My objective is to give Australian native flora centre stage.  By making these small flowers and leaves big I bring attention to them so that we start seeing our indigenous plants and enjoying them more.  Growing up with a love of the bush, studying biology and being largely self taught in art, I bring my passions together in these vivd paintings to share with others.
