ARTIST BIO

 I live in Wagga Wagga NSW, and I have always had a passion for drawing from early years.

I was born in Tumbarumba, and grew up on a farm outside of Tumbarumba , and attended school in town.

It is a beautifull area with trees , snowcapped mountains in the winter. I was always very aware of the beauty of the seasons.

When I married I moved with my husband to Wagga Wagga, and joined the Art Society, and over many years attended many workshops

in all media, but my favourite by far is watercolour.  It has quite a majical feel to it, not an easy medium but exciting...when I paint

everything else is completely forgotten. I love to paint the bush, gum trees still life bush streams and flowers.

I always paint reality  and have never been interested in abstract art.

I have been exhibiting for about 50 years , yes I am getting on but still enjoying my art. I have sold many hundreds  of my works

in and around our area, but have never had my work on show in Melbourne. I have sold a few in Sydney.
